"Very central. Booked a garden room which was well worth the cost as had an area to sit out. Our bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble and our housekeeper, Stephanie was lovely- she made our trip!"

"Lovely room with a separate shower and toilet, quite spacious and a nice view over the courtyard. The restaurant is outstanding,some of the best food I have had, they have 2 set 3 course menus , one for €29 and one for €36 both are excellent. Location is right on the heart of Coulon,lots of restaurants, bars ice cream etc, boat hire is a 3 minute walk away. We took one out for 3 hours which was plenty of time to see the canals and wildlife. The hotel is very dog friendly with our dogs welcomed in both the restaurant and the breakfast room. Breakfast was excellent and good value."

"In the toilet there is no hand basin, this could easily be remedied by having a cistern with a built in hand washing facility on top. ,a cheap and easy fix."

"We were in one one of the suites in the grounds, the bathroom was very dated and cold as the heater didn't work, these studios would be better for summer use. The owner said they are having them completely refurbed in March which will be a great improvement."
