Lilloise Home

"This is a rental apartment like in the golden days. It is at the heart of Lille, 5 min away from the Gare. Everything works perfectly (kitchen, shower) and carefully prepared to make you feel like you have everything you need to feel at home. Beautiful experience."

"No cons, I loved this place"

"It’s nicely decorated. Small, but everything you need is there. The vibe of the place is lovely. Location is perfect. Parking nearby. It’s right is the centre of old Lille. Lots of shops and restaurants around the corner."

"The bed was a bit uncomfortable for me, but for people who like a firmer mattress it may be better."

"Excellent location right in the centre of Lille. 15 minutes walk from Eurostar. Really lovely appartement with good facilities - small but felt really at home there. Host very helpful eresponsive."

"Small but well laid out apartment, functional kitchen, good tea and coffee selection, travel cot provided, the main square was right round the corner!"

"Some noise and cigarette smoke unfortunately entered the apartment from people in the stairwell. The cot mattress was softer than usual, and the bedroom door squeaks a bit (only a problem if you have a baby with you!)"

"Excellent location in the heart of the old city centre, with smart shops and good restaurants all around. Very quiet at night. Wi-fi worked well. Plentiful hot water. Heating could be controlled by hirer. Very clean. Plenty of towels. Good fridge. Smart wooden floors. Plenty of mains sockets for charging phones etc (but bring adaptors if you have UK plugs!) Owner responded quickly and helpfully to emails sent via booking.com. The code to open the key box arrived by email in good time on the day of arrival and included photos to show how to open the box."

"The window in the bathroom needs a proper blind - the sheet of plastic stuck on the glass is scruffy and doesn't seem to provide adequate privacy from neighbours. Although the bedroom was comfortable to sleep in (and has an excellent modern blind), it's rather a squash getting to the wardrobe, the doors of which don't slide open easily."

"Very central. Well placed for shopping and nightlife. Very good communications about the stay. Dealt with lost property very efficiently."

"20 steps up a narrow stairwell with no elevator- not a problem for me but the less able might struggle. The smallest shower I have used outside of a boat."

"Excellent place, easy to get the key, pleasant, comfortable."

"I have nothing bad to say about the place. I really liked it."

"Very central, clean, well equipped, good contact to host Try cake at cafe Elisabeth in a few roads distance from the appartment, it's delicious!"

"As already mentioned if you want to sleep on the couch you should be prepared for the noise from the hallway and the fire detector."

"Logement idéalement situé, proche de la gare et en plein centre-ville. Logement très calme."

"Aucun."

"Posizione super centrale, comodo per tutto. Comunicazione con la proprietaria veloce ed efficace; alloggio carino!"

"unica pecca se c’è rumore nelle scale si sente tutto."
