"I chose this accommodation for a cycling holiday - I wanted a lively town for food and evening walks, and a surrounding landscape which enabled me to ride daily loops of 100km or so out into varied, quiet, lovely countryside. It didn't disappoint - the location was wonderfully central but quiet, the apartment was thoughtfully appointed and had everything I needed, and the countryside and roads of the Haute-Loire and Ardeche are utterly lovely. Little practical details - easy-to-operate washing machine, and clothes-drying facilities. A brilliant shower. Good-enough restaurants within 100m. You can't ask for more than that."
