"For the price it would be unfair to criticise anything. But...as suggestions to make it perfect, I would increase the price a little and replace the rather worn out bath towels. Some sun shades around the pool would have been much appreciated. As would covers on the plastic sunbeds which were a bit uncomfortable. Would unhesitatingly recommend this hotel."

La chambre, où plutôt le loft est grand, comprenant un espace salon avec plateau de courtoisie, table haute et sièges, et espace nuit . La literie est confortable, calme et tranquilité assurés, salle d'eau spacieuse, proprété impeccable . Une fiche remplit la veille permet de choisir la composition du petit déjeuner avec des spécialités locales ( Broyé du Poitou, Tourteau fromager ...) . Le service est attentif et souriant ."

"Beautiful settings, close to the beach and cafes, pet friendly (we have rather a large dog and there was nonproblem), easy going atmosphere."
"The view of the ocean was great. It was a quiet place (might be because there were not that many other guests). Some nice walks in the surrounding area. The interior of the apartment is somewhat basic but sufficient. Keep in mind cleaning, towels and bed linnen are not included. The hosts where on holiday, but seemed to be very helpful and friendly."

"This hotel is historic, and has a quirky interesting collection of vintage decor items throughout it. It has a very different feel to it (unlike a lot of bland hotels).. The owner is very helpful and friendly and has interesting conversations, and is kindly speaking english, due to my poor french. There is much to see in the historic centre of Laval, and the hotel is walking distance to most of that. The breakfast was very good."
"This was our 2nd stay at Coatelan. Same room as last time. Yolande was lovely and very welcoming. We love the total peace and quiet. Also very good road links and convenient for the Roscoff ferry ⛴️ means no rushing around."

"Don't be fooled by the exterior, this is an old hotel that has been tastefully refurbished inside. The colours and finishes in the hallways and my room were great and the way they had redone the bathroom was super! I liked the eclectic mix of decorative items. My room was very clean - especially the bathroom. The breakfast was well-priced. Looking back, I wish I'd tried it. The location is great, just one block away from the main street and surrounded by shops."
