"Wonderful Gites, just 3km outside Pont-de-Barret in the Drôme Provençale. The hosts, Mark and Tracey couldn't be kinder and more thoughtful. Always in for a chat and a laugh. Gites are well equipped and clean. Gites are located at the edge of woodland, with views over agricultural fields and mountains in the distance. Peaceful environment where the silence is only disturbed, once in a while, by the pets and birds. Great area for birders, the rare mountain whisler could be heard every morning on site. ( There a more then 150 bird species recorded in the region. Bee-eaters near Crest, Vultures at Remuzat and in the Vercors Natural Parc ) Lovely cities like Crest, Montlimar, Nyons and Grignan, with its beautiful Castle, can be reached within an hour by car. Our stay was most enjoyable and we definitely will visit Mark and Tracey again."

"A wonderful place, with a beautiful garden and a house with everythin you could need for a nice and relaxing holiday (even in case of less sunny days). The very kind dog, the chickens, and the donkeys make it lively and cozy. And on top of that, the very warm welcome by Mark and Tracy as well as their tips for the area make a stay at Les Beaux Chenes very much recommended"

"Everything was perfect. Swimming Pool very nice. The House was very clean and comfortabel. Located in the nature, donkeys and little animal around. The owner helpful and friendly people."

"Les Beaux Chênes bevindt zich op een prachtige, groene, afgelegen plek in de Drôme/Provence. Onze gîte had een goed uitgeruste keuken en een terras met uitzicht op bomen en tuin. Bijzonderheden zijn de aanwezigheid van de vele dieren waaronder een grote groep ezels die op het punt van uitsterven staan en waarvoor de eigenaars van zich inzetten in een fokprogramma. De Engelse eigenaren zijn buitengewoon hartelijk, vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het dichtstbijzijnde dorp, Pont-de-Barret, heeft een onverwacht goed en plezierig restaurant (Les Trois Becs)."
