"What a wonderful house in a fantastic location. The villa is situated in a quiet residential area of Saint-Germain-sur-Ay, right next to the dunes – perfect for long walks, even all the way to the other coast. The beach is just a 5-minute walk away and is wide, peaceful, and dog-friendly. The house itself has everything you need: a comfortable living area, a spacious open kitchen fully equipped with everything imaginable, a utility room, and clean, modern bathrooms. Upstairs there’s a lovely seating area on the landing with a view over the nature reserve. Everything was spotless, and the large fenced garden was perfect for my dog. We had all kinds of weather, including a heatwave, and to my surprise there was air conditioning – such a relief, especially for my dog, as walking to the beach was too hot at times. The host, Laura, was amazing – always quick to respond and very helpful. If you’re looking for space and quiet, especially outside the high season, this place is a gem."

"Honestly, I can’t think of anything. Just be aware that local facilities are limited – the village has a small supermarket and a couple of restaurants, but the local butcher and bakery were closed (I assume they only open during the high season – I stayed in the second half of June). Larger supermarkets are about 15 minutes away by car."

"Ein tolles Haus. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der Garten schön angelegt. Die Lage ist unschlagbar direkt an den Dünen. Die Betreuung durch Laura herzlich, die Kommunikation unkompliziert."

"Es gibt kein deutsches TV-Programm. Bequemere Terrassenmöbel oder wenigstens Polsterauflagen für die Plastikmöbel wären schön."
