"We enjoyed our stay! Valerie is a fantastic host, friendly, helpful, flexible, and can recommend a ton of local activities and where to eat. We had amazing sleep, the beds are firm and it is very quiet! As others write, it was great to meet other travellers around the beautiful and easy french breakfast table. The accommodation is well equipped and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and we felt like at home!"

"This place is for people who like the old French style and want to get a vibe of the past with everything that goes with it. The place is a typical more vibrant country house in a small street on the border of the village, the interior is a tribute to the past of the house. Also the talks with the owner were very pleasant. It was a pity we only stayed here for one night. The breakfast on one big table was very nice and the interaction with other guest delivers nice chats. The room were the breakfast is enjoyed is the nicest room of the house."

"Joinville is a charming stop, breaking our journey roughly half way to the Alps. There are a good number of places to eat for a relatively small location. Our hostess is an amiable english-speaker who cares for others as she would herself and making the journey regularly, as we dop, this is definitely somewhere we would stay again - more character than corporate, but that's what we like."

"It was very chic, traditional and pretty. The owner was very friendly and helped with a table reservation at a lovely restaurant nearby. I would recommend this property. Parking was right outside as well."

"It looks stunning on the advert but I was worried as we approached up a shabby back street to a solid wooden door. The photos are all taken from the back garden. But the welcome from Mme Weber was warm and kind. The rooms were spacious and comfortable in a homely old fashioned way. The village is lovely and we stumbled upon a concert in the town square that evening. We had a superb breakfast round a big table chatting in French with the other guests for nearly an hour."
