"The apartment is very sweet comfortable cozy and clean. It looked exactly the way it did in the photos. Wonderful to have a separate bedroom after five weeks in hotel rooms! We walked with our luggage (with wheels) from the train station which took about 20 minutes. Not sure if there were taxis around but we arrived on a Sunday and enjoyed the walk. We were in the area to see the amazing megalithic sites and Auray made a perfect base for this. The town is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you need. The market on Monday is fantastic. Plenty of local restaurants too. I would not recommend this place for anyone with disabilities or inability to walk up steps as there are two flights that you must negotiate with luggage etc."

"The only thing I could say is there were no mugs! We went to a local shop and bought some nice ceramic mugs as we like a good cup of tea 😆 Also, if you are visiting out of the busy seizing, remember that many businesses close between 2 and 7 pm. We got caught out once but even then managed to find a fantastic Restaurant."

"The property was very cosy, well equipped and we slept well."

"The property had too many tasks and rules, for example we had to make our own bed, take out the trash and properly clean the property when we left. When you are just staying for one night and you’re on holiday, it is quite annoying. If I wanted to do chores, I would have gone to an Airbnb. This location is probably more suitable for longer stays, when a level of tidying would be expected. On a minor note, the public car park they recommended had a lot of smashed glass everywhere when we visited, which was a bit stressful as we had to move everything from our car in the property as a precaution. This might have been an isolated incident, and of course not related to the property (or our rating), but we would recommend parking in the more open spaces, not amongst the trees if you have an option."

"Je regrette que la mention concernant le nettoyage de l'appartement ne soit pas clairement indiquée au moment de la réservation sur Booking et de la découvrir dans l'appartement. Cette contrainte pour une nuitée m'aurait incitée à choisir un autre logement."

"Moraldo and his family were the perfect hosts. The room was very clean and was very pleasantly arranged and tidy. Moraldo was always available to answer any queries and was a delight to talk to. He took a genuine interest in us as people and speaks very good English. There is also plenty of toast available for breakfast in the mornings with tea and coffee, and fridge space for your milk or anything else you want to bring in. There are seperate toilet and shower facilities which are perfectly adequate. The apartment was a great base for me to walk to the La Defense Arena to watch WWE which was the purpose of the trip. Moralso also made sure my Mum and sister were looked after also, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more of our host. We even had Spider-man as a bodyguard on the balcony!"

"A lovely gite in a lovely, quiet location on a river. The property has been beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The patio with BBQ was particularly welcome! "Emplacement géographique top ! Saint Jean est idéalement situé entre la station La Clusaz et celle du Grand Bornant et au besoin des navettes gratuites sont disponibles. Le logement est situé dans un endroit très calme. Certes, il est un peu petit mais dispose de tout ce dont on a besoin !!! Il est très bien équipé. Il convient pour une famille de 4 (2 adultes + 1 ado + 1 enfant). Belle vue également !"
