"The establishment was so beautiful and delightful in every way. The staff were outstanding, they were impeccable and attended to our every need. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, and they indulged us with a room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated and was so very nice of them to do so. The room was exceptional, as was the whole establishment, we will definitely be back again and recommend Le Prieure to all our friends and family. Thank you Antoniette."

"whilst the vast majority of the staff is impeccable, some (especially one gentlemen at the reception during the week end) lack the attention that would be expected. Also we had to wait three days for the shower heard to be fixed and had to ask three times said gentlemen to at least fix it with tape until a technician is available again. Finally over a couple of days, the swimming pool was invaded by a good number of small children who spent hours playing ball and screaming in the pool. It was extremely disturbing so that other clients left the area. It should be expected that the hotel enforces a number of rules and that the staff at least addresses the issue with the parents. I asked the same gentlemen at the reception to speak with the parents. His refused (or did not dare) to do so and his answer was "speak with the management on monday!!" I had to address the issue with the families. Not what a patron should have to do. Pity: these incidents made our stay less enjoyable."

"Breakfast is extra, but very good. Dinner is a big deal at this Relais & Chateaux Hotel. It is a one-star Michelin and quite elaborate. The young staff is helpful and friendly, the gardens are magnificent and the location is tucked away and quiet, but a 3-minute walk to the center of the village. To drive over the Rhone to the big center of Avignon takes 6 minutes. This is the best part of the Avignon area. It feels like real Provence yet less than a mile from all the major attractions in this major metropolitan and tourist City."

"Hum? There is a trick for finding the driveway. You must go against the sign that says, do not enter or go the long way and miss the opening. But once inside the parking lot is large yet separated from the beautiful grounds of the hotel."
