"Outside buildings a bit unkempt (quite typical for many areas of downtown Calais) but once in the door was pleasantly surprised. Don't be put off by the outside!"

"Don’t judge a book by its cover, so the saying goes! This was a prime example. From the outside it appeared to be a run-down building, similar to other properties in the street. Once inside though, the apartment was extremely clean and comfortable. Modern style with basic amenities. Supermarket directly across the road was ideal and well stocked with produce. The property owner, Dean, was extremely friendly and helpful. Took time to explain everything about the apartment which was appreciated. Shower was excellent! Would definitely stay here again and have no hesitation recommending the apartment."

"This is not a criticism, but a few little additional items would be welcome. If I could suggest some additional cutlery, a few coasters and a cutting board to protect the surfaces."
