"Perfect location for an overnight stop south but l’Ancre Vive is much more than that. It is a much loved, historic home, run by people who truly love it and who have impeccable taste and serve the best breakfast ever. Dominique is also just charming and so easy to talk to. "Beautiful house and grounds, the hosts were so nice, warm and helpful, the room was perfect and very spacious and we really enjoyed the breakfast. Really authentic experience and it was an ideal stop off point for heading from Paris to the south."

"L'appartement est grand, chaque chambre (2) et la salle principale sont dotés d'un grand balcon pouvant contenir une petite table et 2 chaises. Il y a 2 salles de bain bien équipées. La vue matinale sur le port ensoleillée est merveilleuse. L'immeuble est un ancien hôtel, dont le salon d'accueil du rez-de-chaussée, qui a été conservé, est très accueillant."

"Very peaceful and comfortable and very clean. 2 bedrooms & bathroom upstairs. One with double bed and 2nd with 2 single beds. Kitchen living room and toilet downstairs. We were lucky that the weather was good so we were able to sit outside to eat- a pleasant surprise for October. Points of information- the stairs is a little steep- a consideration for anyone with mobility issues.Also, although manageable, the entrance is tight to drive car in, but there is an alternative parking space across the road. We had 2 cars and used both. No hesitation in recommending Le CosyB"

"Die Besitzer sind sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich, hilfsbereit. Der Garten ist ein gepflegter Park, blühende, duftende Pflanzen ringsherum. Es ist ruhig und angenehm. Man ist schnell in Pornic, ein kleiner schöner Ort mit einem kleinen Hafen, gemütlichen Cafés und Restaurants. Leckere Eiscafés und schöne besondere Geschäfte ( z. B. Mit Sardinen aus der Gegend in dekorativen Dosen)."
