"This is the 2nd time we have stayed here, and we will definitely return! The situation of the accomodation is just lovely. The apartment is spacious, well euqipped and immaculate. With a balcony overlooking the river Somme and just a short walk into the centre of Amiens, it really is an ideal location, especially for the Christmas market."

"The location is beautiful with direct views of the river and a lovely park from a private balcony. The appartment is moments away from riverside restaurants and bars, and a short walk from the Cathedral and the rest of the city including plenty of shops. Accommodation is generous and extremely comfortable, and feels very safe. The hosts were charming and helpful. We were having difficulties with our car and Miguel helped us so much by phoning the garage for us numerous times and helping with our communication."

"The WiFi was terrible and the owner told us that we should park our car in an underground parking because with our UK number plates, it could be vandalised if we parked outside. We have never been warned so openly before about being attacked for being from the UK . Perhaps not such a safe place to stay if you are from the UK."

"Really lovely apartment very close to the town centre but also quiet. It has a lovely balcony with a view of the water. Plenty of bathrooms and heaters/air conditioning units in each main room."

"We would have like a proper sofa and one or two easy chairs in the main room. A little more equipment such as mugs would have been good, also a clean washing up sponge would have been good."

"Miguel and Isabel are wonderful hosts ( and Isabel’s mum!) and their property is beautifully appointed , very spacious and has magnificent views of the Somme from the balcony. It is perfectly located for a stay in Amiens, particularly for those who have read the novel Birdsong as the house featured in the book is on the very same Boulevard with vivid descriptions of life there at the beginning of the last century."

"The property is kept to a very high standard. Located close to the cathedral and restaurants on the somme river. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Arranged parking in their garage for €10 per day (approx 8 min walk away)."
