"To celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary we came with our daughter to this beautiful property. Everything from beginning to end was just perfect….the welcome, the added touches such as bread, butter, jam etc were so much appreciated! We felt right at home and definitely recommend Debbie & David’s haven of peace and tranquility….we will be back!!!! Thank you so very much, Gillian, Pascal & Alexandrine"

"We enjoyed a fantastic stay at La Retraite. The apartment is cosy and tastefully decorated, and Assignan is a nice quiet little village, more interesting than we expected. We very much appreciated the complimentary local products, especially the jam and bread, and the coffee, because there are a few fine restaurants in the village, but no cafés where you can have breakfast."

"Very comfortable apartment with everything you need, especially for families. Comfortable beds. Everything you need in the bathroom. The kitchen is also very good equipped. The beach is some 10 to 20 minutes walk, depending where you want to go. The city center and old town are also not very far, everything is very close."

"Due to traffic congestion we had to stay overnight and booked this hiatal last minute. The owners are very friendly and respond fast to our request. Normal check in is till 8PM but we requested to arrive a bit later so we could have dinner first. The breakfast was excellent, with very fresh bread and croissants. The garden is quiet and great for a beer. We would definitely return if I had the option. Great value for money."

Abbiamo trovato l’appartamento pulito e dotato di tutto il necessario per la nostra permanenza (cucina ben fornita, aria condizionata, stendino, asse da stiro, ecc). La comunicazione con l’host è stata semplice e le risposte molto rapide."
