"This is a traditional small French hotel in the small town of Batz Sur Mer . Although the building is old the rooms and bathrooms have been modernised ours was good sized room with a comfortable bed . The owner was very friendly and tried her best to speak English."

"We were attending the European Dressage Championships in Crozet so the location of La Bonne Auberge was excellent - especially as it was in walking distance of decent restaurants. The hotel owner was delightful, friendly, helpful, spoke good English. We knew our room was going to be a bit small, it was an attic room for 3 people but it was perfectly satisfactory. It was very clean with a good bathroom - great shower. It was quite warm being in the attic but there was an a/c unit which was nice and quiet - but did seem to switch itself off. The continental breakfasts were excellent - the biggest pain chocolat I've ever seen!"
