La Ligne

"We stopped off at La Ligne on our journey south from the Caen ferry. It was perfect for our needs. The hosts were helpful and friendly, the room was very comfortable and there was a wonderful separate kitchen available perfect for preparation of light meals. We did not take breakfast but coffee, tea and biscuits was provided. Wonderful. The pretty village of Angles sur L'Anglin gave us a chance to stretch our legs in pleasant surroundings"

"La Ligne is set in the countryside not far from the lovely town of Angles-sur-Anglin. There are several gites on site but we stayed in one of the two Chambre d’hotes. The good-sized bedroom was up a flight of stairs and we had shared use of the kitchen with the second chambre d’hote. The excellent breakfast was served in this kitchen and we could use the facilities, which included a coffee machine, to make a simple evening meal. The grounds are extensive and one can go for walks in the countryside. The swimming pool is excellent; large, beautifully clean and enclosed. The owners were very pleasant, extremely helpful and spoke good English."
