"This was a good choice for a stopover before taking Le Shuttle the following morning. It's about 20 mins from Le Shuttle. The room was comfortable and reasonably spacious, with a good shower and separate toilet. Breakfast was good, and set us up for our return jouney home. Well priced, conveniently located and comfortable, it was just right dor our last night."

"If you are moderately tall, you'll need to duck when going up and down the stairs. I'm 6'2" and cracked my head whilst climbing the stairs. It is a boutique hotel, and check-in isn't available until 5.00pm. The gates to the drive are not open until then, so you may have to occupy yourselves with something to do if you turn up early. These people have their own lives, so don't expect the big corporate hotel experience."

"The hotel is located close to the channel tunnel and offers a great place to spend the night before travelling. The room was lovely, with a comfortable large bed and good, clean bathroom. The owner recommended us a restaurant for some food and made a reservation on our behalf. The breakfast was lovely as well."

"If you're looking to spend some time in Northern France or even break a long journey with an overnight stay, this is a perfect place. So many plus points: warm and informative welcome by the very nice hosts, free on-site and secure parking, comfy and stylish rooms, in-room drinks (water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate), piping hot water, soap/shower gel, excellent breakfast selection and much more! We'll definitely be back!"

"We had an overnight stay here on our way home from a European trip. The house is beautiful, as are the gardens. We needed two rooms, one was inside the house, the other was a converted barn in the garden. Both rooms were spotlessly clean and had a lovely modern decor, new showers, and great beds. The host is very helpful. He recommended a nice place to eat a short drive away which was really nice. Breakfast was a basic continental, but the quality was good. La Carte Postale is 10 minutes from the Chanel Tunnel. Perfect. We would definitely stay again."

"We received a very warm welcome, and the owner recommended and booked us into a lovely local restaurant. The gardens are beautiful and we enjoyed a relaxing hour looking at the view and enjoying a bottle of wine. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location is quiet and very convenient."
