"The staff were welcoming, polite and obliging. I tried my mediocre French, but they spoke English very proficiently, which helped after my long journey from the South. The hotel is well situated at only five minutes from the town centre. All the facilities were first class."

"There was nothing to dislike about this property!"

"Beautiful hotel, quiet and so comfortable. The staff were happy to accommodate our early arrival which was great. The breakfast buffet is extensive and the location directly across from the medieval town and chateau was perfect. The Lebanese restaurant just around the corner dies excellent food as well."

"Hotel Rive Sud is a beautiful boutique hotel. Located on the river bank, tranquil area. We thank the team at Hotel Rive Sud for their welcoming, friendly, hospitality. Breakfast offering was delicious with ample variety. The garden courtyard area is serene and comfortable for relaxing with wine, snacks and soak up the glorious sunsets. Perfect base for riding, walking and exploring. We stayed in Utopia - a stunning room with large tub and round bed. Very comfortable and luxurious. We highly recommend a stay at Hotel Rive Sud. A very special place to stay. Merci Beaucoup."

"Great decor and very good breakfast. Service was excellent"

"Nothing, for price it was excellent"

"The best part was the wonderful friendliness and welcome we received at reception ( English, Spanish, French, Greek spoken). Beds were really comfortable, and the room wa s spacious enough with a large bathroom and shared area in courtyard and inside as well. Travelling with our almost grown up sons we rested well in this peaceful hotel. The breakfast was delicious, locally sourced products, many organic, many home made. It was outstanding and we set out well prepared to explore this lovely village of Chinon."
