"Hotel Moderne was nestled in an isolated and elevated part of the Aubrac national park. I was the only one staying that night, and was originally informed by email that the restaurant wouldn't be open. However, when I arrived they were very kindly able to prepare a very nice meal for me, with starter and dessert. I expect the Moderne was ahead of its time when it opened, but its name is a bit misleading! The building has loads of character, but not the dictionary definition of modern! I was made to feel extremely welcome, and the landlady was very patient with my efforts to converse in French. I would definitely stay again - it's in a beautiful part of France."

Rencontre avec les habitants au comptoir inoubliable, tripoux maison incroyables et surtout l' espace toilette douche lavabo placard dans un module pivotant vintage . Si vous n' êtes pas trop fort ou handicapé la découverte vaut le déplacement. Propreté irréprochable."
