"Excellent welcome and just a lovely over night stay. Plenty of restaurants close by for evening meal. Worth every euro for the breakfast, delicious!"

"Nothing at all, our stay was perfect."

"I stayed in this lovely hotel, converted from a private townhouse, twelve years ago and wanted to come back. The welcome is very friendly and the rooms quiet and comfortable, the bathroom is spotlessly clean with a great shower. Comfortable bed. The hotel is in a lovely quiet area of Chinon and an easy walk to the town centre, with its plentiful restaurants. Car parking in the hotel courtyard is 8 euros. The hotel offers the most delicious breakfast in its comfortable dining room which is worth every penny. I recommend it."

"The room could have been a little bigger! Otherwise no complaints."

"A beautifully-restored 14th hotel in the heart of Chinon. We really enjoyed the charming decor throughout the hotel. In particular, the breakfast room was very attractive and the breakfast has a fine selection of breads and home-made jams. twe were only passing through the area, but would have loved to stay an extra day just to enjoy the lovely rooms!"
