Hôtel de la Poste

"It's 1 star with no pretentions to anything greater but it has an excellent restaurant for quality and price. I stayed on a mid week night, and the restaurant was full, and not a tourist amongst them.....other than me."

"A decent bedside light to read by would be a bonus. I had to lay the small bedside lamp on its side on the pillow beside my head in order to get sufficient illumination to read by."

"Absolutely excellent dinner, lovely breakfast, great staff."

"Friendly, tasty food, simple but clean rooms. A touch of the old style France maybe ?"

"Friendly staff and comfortable lodgings in a good location, close to the station and walking distance to town centre."

"Traditional small French hotel , nothing fancy just a comfortable bed and clean ensuite, good restaurant for dinner and a nice breakfast.Friendly, helpful staff. Good value for money. You must judge a hotel like this for what it is. Don't compare it with a,4 star corporate. Yes, there is no lift, and the stairs are steep, but that's the nature of the building. Set dinner, great value,at €30.00 for 3 courses."

"Third visit here, it is one of our favourite places due to location, room, and is above a nice little bistro, friendly staff and much more character than the soulless ibis etc."

"Lovely people. Great service with good humour. Comfortable and very quiet at night Good traditional restaurant and a good simple breakfast. What more do you want."

"Everything was great, proper old fashion hospitality. I hope it doesn't change. I'll be back!"

"The room is lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful. Food is delightful."

"Good location close to the railway station and only about 10min walk from the centre. Also close to a trolleybus stop. Large bathroom, friendly and helpful staff. Ample breakfast of croissant, pain au chocolate, bread. Restaurant meal in the evening was very good."

"No Aircon, shower was hand-held in bath, with no shower curtain. Strange door arrangement to the bathroom, which had possibly been a veranda in the past."

"Petit déjeuner copieux. Chocolatine, croissant et pain. Boisson chaude à choisir à la machine à café. Jus, yaourt, céréales... Grille pain. Le tout en libre service dans une salle agréable donnant sur la rue."
