Hôtel Arnold

"Very characterful property. Cosy but large bedroom with nice decor and good quality bed linen and pillows. We had a room with a balcony and great views. Parking was easy and right by the room. The food was very good for both dinner and breakfast. Good portions of hearty regional dishes. Friendly staff. Spa was lovely and included in the price ( if a little busy on a fri eve) quiet rural location in lovely village and easy to find. They provide umbrellas!"

"It was raining when we stayed and the hotel does require you to go outside. The spa is in main building with most of the rooms but the restaurant is over the road, as was our room, in a separate building next to the restaurant. Not a problem for us but for anyone with limited mobility it might be an issue. Bed was comfy but we had to remove the mattress on one side and reinstall some of the stays that had come loose before we could sleep as the bed was making a noise when we sat on it!"

"Lovely, spacious room with a beautiful vineyard view and sunsets. Charming, traditional decor (the first-floor lounge feels cinematic). The spa area is pleasant and helped me unwind after long work days."

"Spa is on the small side and felt crowded on Sunday; hours (9:00–20:00) are a bit short for busy schedules or late work days. Restaurant was fully booked and there’s no real room service beyond jarred food. Bed was two singles pushed together."

"Have been staying at Arnold regularly over the years. It’s very well located for a travel stop in a very pretty village. The bed is very comfy and the shower room is great, plenty space and with a big powerful shower. Parking is easy right outside the new extension. The staff were kind and very helpful."

"The hotel’s restaurant, which is across the road from the hotel, was shut on Monday when we arrived and the breakfast is served there instead of in the hotel as it used to be so we needed an umbrella to avoid the rain. Breakfast was also simpler than before and the cafe au lait not like we remembered."

"Great location in the wine growing Alsace region, nice views from our room, pretty village and nice walking and cycling region. The breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. Plenty of parking. The pool and spa are great."

"We where not shown up to our room or helped up 2 floors with our cases. We had not been told we needed to book the restaurant which was full then we arrived, so we had to find another (less good) place. The hotel layout is a bit confusing having taken the lift from the pool we took a while to find our room!"
