"Apartment was great for pit stop on way to tunnel home. Location was fantastic in grounds of the most amazing chateau. Basic but very comfortable. Local village excellent for restaurants and food shopping"

"Lovely and clean in amazing surroundings. Perfect size for a one night stop over. Had everything we need."

"The stairs were a little steep. Wouldn’t be good for young children. I was scared of my son trying to walk down them during the night. Perhaps needs a baby gate or at least potential guests knowing about this."

"A lovely place, renovated stables of the Château de Coulonge, with the Château on your doorstep. Cedric was extremely helpful and friendly. We walked into the town of Damville. Very nice Chinese meal."

"The apartment is ok inside BUT outside is wonderful, the best location I have stayed in. You are in the grounds of a derelict chateau which is incredible. The grounds are huge and great to walk around. If you like photography then this is the place to stay. Sit outside and soak up the surrounds with a glass of red wine."

"The house was very large and spacious and even had a piano. The rooms were clean with towels and sheets. Although the kitchen was small, it was enough to cook a meal for 11 people."

"The windows were open when we arrived at the property, which was invaded by bugs and even two giant Asian wasps. We were terrified until we got rid of them."

"The location in the grounds of the chateau was amazing. So much space to wander around and lovely views."

"No WiFi, but we used our phones as hotspots, so that was fine. The place did feel empty and isolated as they only had two rooms rented, and it's a vast estate."

"Big and clean house. Very good facilities including washing machine (though we did not use it). Owner is friendly and wait for us even though after the normal check in time. Appreciated !"
