"Our host's welcome was exceptionally friendly, and she spent time with us, sharing the long and interesting history of her home, and providing us with her own notebooks and scrapbooks to browse through during the evening. Our room was spacious and nicely appointed. Breakfast included her home made jams and yoghourt, and was both generous and a pleasure to eat. Before we went, we had thought this place would simply be a one night stopover for us. We have resolved to return here and explore the area, using Ferme De Bonavis as an excellent base."

"You need to drive someway to find a good place to eat if arriving in time for meal - there is a really well stocked mini bar and it would be beautiful to sit and eat in the evening sun on the terrace ... but you need to think about where to eat depending on your arrival time."

"Carole was a wonderful host, the location was lovely. The Mozart room for the 5 of us was fabulous, spacious, loved the letter from Mozart. Breakfast included croissants, baguette, local yoghurt and wonderful homemade bread and jam. Perfect start to our holiday."
