"Very smart. Large rooms and good facilities such as the spa, public areas, breakfast. Great location and quiet at this time of year, but no idea how busy it might be in summer. Helpful staff promote a relaxed atmosphere. The town itself is small and smart, with various other places to eat - both high end and down to earth gastro bars."

"The hotel is located near the lake Annecy and it is very pictureque. It is very quiet and serene. Breakfast has high quality. The male staff at breakfast hall was attentive and very friendly. The hotel building is very interesting. We felt like living in the mansion in the old days. However, facilities inside hotel and the room are convenient and comfortable. The valet parking guy was very friendly and helpful."

"Bring the ones from the towel bag in your room" it said but first of all - that's a bit late when you are already in the spa, and second, there were not water glasses in our bag. Small thing but just not in line with the upscale feeling of the place."

"Fantastic place full of atmosphere. Old building beautifully restored in a unique place in front of the lake. A very nice spa area and a room that was big and comfortable. Both the room service (excellent!!) and the restaurant can be highly recommended. And the staff was incredible service minded. A high class place - but not stuffy at all."
