"Family of six (inc 2 x boys & 2 x girls). 3 Double beds and a portable single bed - there was also a baby cot if needed. The property is well finished and a five minute walk from Place Carnot in the heart of the Bastide. This was a great relaxing 2 night stay at the end of a 14day trip."

"It would have been good to have a second key fob and apartment key as there were times when both adults and the 16year old were all going different directions."

"We had a very enjoyable stay. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. There were plenty of fans and AC too, which was appreciated as we were there during the heatwave. The street is very narrow, so you have to be quick unloading if you are coming by car, as other traffic cannot get past. We didn't find that a problem though, as it's not a particularly busy street. There is both free and paid parking nearby. The location was very convenient for all the restaurants on Place Carnot where we ate twice. Bakeries and supermarket also very close by. About a half an hour walk to the medieval city walls. It was quiet despite its central location. Host Serge was very helpful."

"The location of Chic Bastide is perfect for exploring Carcassonne. A short walk from the station, and then a wonderful scenic stroll up to the historic quarter of the city. The apartment is really comfortable and peaceful. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Serge is a wonderful host, and made us feel very welcome. I can highly recommend Chic Bastide."

"Gorgeous apartment really cool decor. Very comfortable as it's a large apartment, plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 screamagers. Great location close to all the action. The castle is amazing definitely recommend seeing the jousting."

"The apartment has steps inside which may be difficult for anyone with restricted mobility. But it wasn't a problem for us."
