"It was beautiful. The chateau, the garden outside and the pool was just wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and service was personal. The large room with its high ceilings, remodeled to work as a guest room was memorable and special. All facilities were of high quality and very clean. The owners and staff were very welcoming and helpful."

"We were a little disappointed with the “no food or picnic on any part of the property” the restaurants were all a drive away. The grounds were beautiful and it would have been lovely to have been able to bring back some cheese and meats to eat in the evening rather than have to drive out to eat"

"A beautiful location, a pleasure to stay here. Our suite comprised a very large bedroom, large bathroom with a wonderfully deep bath and shower in the bath (lots of hot water) and a separate toilet. Breakfast was delicious with lovely homemade fruit salad and yoghurt, as well as lots of cold meats, breads and pastries. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and spoke very good English. We can certainly recommend their home produced red wine (didn't get a chance to taste the white). We shall definitely visit again when in the area."

"This beautiful property was well located to explore the Beaujolais area. The heated pool was welcome to swim in after a days sightseeing. The host gave us an excellent recommendation for a local restaurant in Cercie which was superior to the upmarket restaurants we had dined in in Lyon. The breakfast room was impressive and the host had spectacular videos of Planet Earth showing on an enormous screen which was a bit of a WOW factor."

"Checkin was not until 4.30pm and when we arrived at 4.30pm the gate was locked and the host did not answer the bell for some minutes. We had to call his phone. It was just a little disappointing on arrival."
