"Authentic French villa experience. The property has been sympathetically renovated to keep the villas charm yet updated for modern comfort. Beautiful location with views and a very peaceful setting, The hosts Nicola and Julia are wonderful hosts. The meals are delicious and I would highly recommend guests take up the breakfast and dinner! Conversation flowed easily over a glass of wine and it only added to the whole experience. Highly recommend this property"

"Needs signage out the front on the road!! It would be good to have basic kettle and tea/coffee cups in each room. Access to a fridge / freezer would have been lovely. Also a fan… the days were very warm"

"The Chateau d'Esplavis is a beautifully enchanting place. It is outshone only by the owners/hosts who are such lovely warm people. They are so welcoming, kind and friendly and made my stay and my whole trip such such an unforgettable experience with their kindness and generosity. I really look forward to staying with them again oneday."

"Perfect breakfast with fresh fruit & fiowers on the terrace. The hosts even had gluten-free bread for us during our stay. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable as they have done a excellent job renovating the chateau. Nic and Julia are both superb cooks and offered to cook us a 3 course meal which was outstanding. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to be back again next year."

"Notre chambre était spacieuse et la literie très confortable. Le petit-déjeuner était très copieux et excellent, servi en terrasse. Nous avons également diné sur place et le repas était digne d'un restaurant gastronomique. Nos hôtes étaient à notre écoute et aux petits soins pour nous. Nous recommandons sans réserve."

"Les hôtes sont vraiment d’une gentillesse incroyable , nous avons passé 3 nuits au château d’Esplavis et ce qui nous à marqué particulièrement c'est l’accueil chaleureux et les attentions qui nous ont été accordées . Je recommande !"

"Pour trouver un point d’amélioration, je dirais juste que l’accès au château n'est pas forcément bien indiqué. Un petit panneau devant le chemin annonçant le château serait je pense apprécié par ceux qui ne connaissent pas."

"Nicola et Julia sont des hôtes très conviviaux, n’hésitant pas à nous faire partager l’apéritif et le dessert du soir. Ils sont très à l’écoute des demandes des clients et par ailleurs leur sens artistique est un plus. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et excellent. La chambre est très vaste, très propre et particulièrement bien décorée. Le lieu est exceptionnel, à peu de distance de la ville. Nous reviendrons volontiers."
