"We had a truly wonderful (and unplanned!) stay at Château des Bouffards last night. The château itself is beautiful—set in enchanting woodland, full of history, and with so much character in every corner. What made our stay especially memorable, however, were the owners. They are magical people, warm and welcoming, and we felt very lucky to have met them. Their life stories, reflected in the fascinating objects displayed around the house, gave the experience an extra layer of charm and depth. A delightful place that combines history, beauty, and heartfelt hospitality. We left feeling enriched and would love to return."

"We hebben de locatie maar één nacht gebruikt op doorreis naar huis terug vanaf Spanje. We waren nogal vroeg en dat was geen enkel probleem. Ondanks ons korte verblijf hebben we genoten. De locatie en accommodatie zijn prachtig. Er heerst rust. De eigenaar is een enorm gastvrij en deelt mooie verhalen. We zijn aangeschoven bij het diner. We zaten samen met de andere gasten, van verschillende nationaliteiten aan één tafel. Iets wat je niet snel zou doen, maar juist heel leuk en het zorgde voor leuke verhalen. Het diner was heerlijk. We vertrokken de volgende ochtend al vroeg, ruim voor het ontbijt. Er werd voor ons een uitzondering gemaakt en er was al een heerlijk ontbijt klaargezet. We hebben genoten."

"We hadden ons vergist in de aankomstdatum maar werden alsnog hartelijk ontvangen en voorzien van een nette kamer. Aansluitend werd ins gevraagd of we ter plaatse ook wilden dineren. Het diner werd opgediend in vier gangen en smaakte uitstekend. De prijs was vervolgens ook zeer acceptabel. We hebben ons zeer welkom gevoeld en een hele fijne ervaring gehad zoals je je dat van tevoren voorstelt van een Frans Chateau. Een aanrader!"

"Hier en daar lag een beetje stof in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte, maar de kamers waren schoon. Dit paste wat ons betreft wel in de sfeer."
