"Very good indeed. Comfortable, modern and clean. For the money, it’s hard to beat. Hot, powerful shower in each room, with a shared toilet and kitchen. Owner very good, too. Would definitely book again."

"We stayed overnight walking the Chemin de Compostelle. Staying at Les Chaumes Violettes was the perfect place. The facilities in the house are outstanding, spacious, ultra clean & well thought out. The location is wonderfully tranquil & quiet, overlooking farmland & countryside - yet it is only 1.5km outside Cluis. Dinner & breakfast are available at extra cost, we had both: definately well worth having; good value. Dinner was fantastic, a beautifully cooked 3 course meal eaten with the family (a lovely experience), everything sourced either from their own garden or very close by. Various friendly animals to befriend of all sorts in & around the garden! But more than anything, the genuine, friendly, hospitable owners made our stay truly memorable. Thank you!"

"The apartment was well equipped, it was clean, and the WiFi worked well. Localisation was excellent, 2 minutes walking to the beach, bus stop in front of the entrance."

"It was a great place. The stairs are a bit step, however we managed well. The location was perfect. Easy access to the lake and maybe 20 from old town of Annecy. Loved it."
