"The room was well equipped. We stayed one night but it is possible to stay longer and cook for yourself in the evening. The space is well designed and decorated to a high standard. Karine contacted us about our arrival time and was very flexible with us. There are places to eat in the town which are a five minute drive away. Karine spoke a bit of English which helped me (my wife speaks French)."

"Lovely building, very quiet area. Secure parking. We also had a delicious cake waiting for us on arrival. Beds were comfortable.. The homemade jam was also delicious. We can hardly speak any French, but the host had Google translate on her phone, and we managed just fine."

"What a special and magical place Demeure des Valette is! This was our second visit to this splendid hotel. The hosts Agnes and Elisabeth are extremely generous and welcoming. Elisabeth is such a wonderful chef: delicious soups, delectable, tasty and plentiful main courses and her yummy desserts being tarte tatin au poire then the following evening it was brioche perdu. We felt very spoilt indeed when my husband requested lamb for dinner and Elisabeth was only to happy to prepare this for us. The dining and breakfast tables were always presented with both care and pride. One night we enjoyed cheese, a green salad and crusty beside an open fire. The hotel itself is more than just charming with its decor and rustic surroundings it provides a calm environment made even more special by Elisabeth and Agnes. Thank you and until next time!"
