Cabane Salamandre

"We loved the style of the apartment. It was attractive, cosy, quiet, well equipped and very close to the centre of town. Semur en Auxois is one of our favourite French towns. It has all the characteristics of what we love about France. Our host and hostess were very welcoming and were readily available if needed. Parking was convenient at the time of year we visited, but I could imagine it would be very competitive in peak season because Semur is so popular."

"The host was so welcoming, very kind. Alexandra gave us clear instructions on how to get to her place. The appartement is brand new with all the necessary equipment, a great mix of vintage and modern furniture. It is well located at the entrance of the village with easy parking. We could use the facilities of the host, large garden, great swimming pool. So nice and quiet! That's a place that my wife and I would definitely highly recommend to anyone visiting this great area of Provence, only a few km from Pont Du Gard and less than 30 minutes from Avignon, in the very charming village of Saint Hilaire surounded by wineyards."

"The accommodation is on the 4th floor, but it was actually bigger than we expected from the photos (the app is on three floors). Everything was comfortable, clean, the kitchen was well equipped, even some basic groceries like sugar and salt, to make it easier to get started... Both beds were very very comfortable, enough towels and everything in the bathroom. We stayed there for five nights with my family and we recommend it to everyone, as it is in a great location - there is a pedestrian zone and a nice market around, lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and several metro stations are close. We arrived very late the first night and had problems getting onto the balcony (it has a separate entrance) - when we informed the owner the next morning, he changed the lock the same day and fixed everything. Thank you again for everything and we sincerely hope to spend our holidays in Paris again. All the best, dear Charles."
