"This is a treasure. A small hotel that might have been much the same fifty years ago (apart from the bedroom décor and the shower/ wc pod in each room). Run by a welcoming couple. A simple restaurant and bar.And so peaceful between the canal and the railway which only has a few trains passing each day. If one enjoys cycling, the cycleway along the Canal du Bercy is a joy. Worth more than an overnight stay."

"It was colourful, quirky, very clean, with a very comfortable bed, our evening meal and breakfast were delicious. Really good music in the bar and the owners were absolutely brilliant."

"Wonderfully location, set on the banks of a canal overlooking fields. A typical french auberge thats beginning to get more difficult to find. Quirky interior, well equipped and with really helpful couple running it. Delicious and not expensive evening meal taken outside in the summer. Highly recommended."

"remote rural very quiet auberge next to the canal was just magical. We fell asleep with the frogs singing and woke up with the coquerel. staff was super welcoming"

"I arrived fairly late but the owners were quite happy to keep the bar and restaurant open until I'd been fed and watered. Food was good and room was excellent. nice place to stay off the beaten track but with easy access back to the motorway network. The outside dining room next to the Canal du Berry was a delight. Even made me a coffee prior to my early departure."
