"Fabulous owner very kindly stayed up to let us in very late. Restaurant and view were gorgeous although we didn’t get to sample the food as we were so late. Shower was amazing."

"Rooms very small (albeit very nice). Bedding a bit more slanted to summer than winter."

"Nice room. The food was very good. Lovely ham, cheese, yoghurt and pastries for breakfast. Dinner was delicious.Hotel was located close to the lake and the room and restaurant both had lovely views. It was very peaceful but close enough to the motorway to continue our travels easily."

"Superb location, incredible food and service. Very friendly and helpful family run business."

"We had three rooms. Two excellent lake view but the third was small with not much of a view."

"This hotel is an absolute delight. The attention to detail and the TLC from the owners and staff was just amazing. I stayed 2 nights of an 8 day road trip and, wow, did I make the right decision! A superb view out across the lake from the restaurant and my room (including the private terrace) and food that was Michelin star standard, this was just what I needed for total relaxation and joie de vivre."

"There was nothing I didn't like."
