"Pros: The house is beautiful and very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone. The amenities were all good and suited our stay well. The location was excellent — close to the local town and everything we wanted to visit. There is also a bus stop just outside the house, which made travelling to and from Arras very easy and convenient."

"Cons: From arrival, we felt uncomfortable due to repeated comments about having young children in the house. As expected for their ages, they were excited and curious to explore, but we were constantly reminded about breakable items. For a holiday rental, particularly one accepting families, it may be worth reconsidering having so many expensive ornaments on display. There was also a language barrier, as we do not speak fluent French, especially when conversations were spoken quickly, which led to misunderstandings. We were not made aware in advance that a fee needed to be paid in cash at the end of the stay, which caused a significant issue. This resulted in the host driving my husband to an ATM in a rushed manner, without giving him time to put on his seatbelt, which was concerning. Overall, while the property itself is lovely, we would not recommend this accommodation for families with young children"

"We stayed in this dream house with the family for 10 days to explore the beautiful city of Arras and the region. If booking.com had a rating category above exceptional, it would be appropriate here. Everything was perfect: the super nice hosts Jacques and Danièle, the entire property, the high-end furnishings, the location, everything was top notch. You can walk along a romantic canal to the city center in about 25 minutes, or in a few minutes by car or bus. Absolutely and in every respect recommended."

"Het huis ligt niet ver van Arras centrum dat je gemakkelijk en mooi te voet langs het kanaal kan bereiken. Alles wat je nodig hebt is in de woning aanwezig. Beddengoed, handdoeken, een volledige keuken, barbecue,… Er is ook voldoende parkeerplaats voor zeker 4 auto’s. Perfect voor een weekend of langere periode om de mooie streek rond Arras te verkennen."
