"I wouldn't say that we didn't like it, far from it, but the staff, and one person in particular whom I won't name, disappointed us. Their attitude and behaviour towards us was anything but respectful. Having to ask for our engagement photos every day, having to ask and ask again for activities without necessarily being informed is not normal. So the staff were very pleasant, except for this one person. I don't want to single anyone else out, that would be a shame. It just leaves a bad impression, especially when you are greeted in a rude and aggressive manner, all because we are not perfectly bilingual. It's not worthy of someone in a position of responsibility, and it's certainly not the way to treat customers."

"My partner and I stayed at Funky Fish primarily so I could surf and she could relax and snorkel. The value for money and location is excellent for a chill, rustic, reasonably priced place to stay with all meals included on a nice semi-isolated beach. The staff are excellent, very friendly and accomodating and even hosted us and other guests for an impromptu Kava ceremony with a bunch of locals too. For surfing its ideal and has boats that will take you 20mins to the reef breaks such as Cloudbreak, Restaurants, Nomotu lefts, swimming pools etc. The snorkelling / reef life nearby is amazing too. I would highly recommend for people wanting more budget, friendly and convenient place to stay as opposed to a fancy resort."
