"Very friendly family farm, your feel completely welcomed. The surroundings are peaceful and beautifully maintained, offering a great balance of comfort and authenticity. "My stay here was really a great experience. James is a brilliant host and cooked me a totally delicious meal with many local ingredients. On his recommendation I went to the fromagerie the next morning, met the goats, and bought cheese to give to my friends. The room was spotless and decorated in a gorgeous wallpaper and the bed was super comfy. Best of all I really enjoyed chatting with James about all sorts, but including hearing his enthusiasm for a project he is working on. Good Luck in the future James!"

"The owners, the location and the property it self were amazing!"

I am used to go barefoot in the house! The only thing that was pretty uncomfortable for me, was the cold floors! They were so cold that you couldn’t not walk for more than few minutes. Some carpets would have solved this issue

"Really lovely guest farm, wish we wished we'd booked to stay longer at and we will return to, as we enjoyed it. The staff are friendly and the food at breakfast and dinner was very good with lovely views over the garden and mountains beyond. Breakfast is all buffet there is a good choice of hot and cold options. We loved the meerkat experience and its a must for anyone interested in these lovely creatures. We enjoyed a day hike at the Swartberg pass and would love to return to this area. Hair raising drive up to the top of the pass but worth it as was the hike. There is lots still for us to do and discover in the little Karoo."

"Very good breakfast and coffee with a great choice of veggies, cheese and sausages, make sure to arrive hungry in the morning. The host Alexandr is a very nice host and played very nice piano to us. We got a great tour through the castle and the tough family history explained. The area was lways overrun from all sides, a constant struggle. We decided to stay another day."

Mortadella was cut as thick as a Schnitzel ;-) (well meant), some people might like honey or jam along with musdei. All very good. Unfortuntately we arrived when the restaurant was closed.

"Nice place to stay on a tour of the South of the island. Very spacious room with shared cooking facilities which as it turned out, we had all to ourselves. Manager very friendly and attentive."

"Exactly what I wanted and more. Gorgeous rice fields, feels completely away from everything (but has good wifi). Quiet, beautiful. Theres a pond where you can fish with sticky rice. Many places to just sit and take it all in. Fire pit!!! Walking distance (or moto) to Kuangsi Waterfall via back path amongst the water buffalos, farmers and local life."

Very little selection for food and drinks. The first night dinner was fantastic, the second night, ordered the exact same thing and it was sooooo dissappointing. The owner addressed this and gave partial refund. There is no hot water which is a bit shocking at first. But my friends cabin didnt have any constant water pressure. Again the owner addressed issue right away. Nearby farms may be burning at times and the smoke goes right into the cabin. Unavoidable.
