"I mid of nature, nothing around and you live in green bungalows. We have seen 3 eguanas just from our window. We had a not so big from but with big terrasse and bbq. Near lake with flamingos."

"A lot of roules overall to compare with other hotels. Airco is 2 or 3 euro a day extra. Extra toilet paper you should buy your self.( they give enough but still a bit strange for me) No shampoo, but a lot of towels. It's in nature (all type of insects) so better to not eat inside and close all creams, wash dishes and throw all trash immediately outside. We needed to safe all in the fridge. Take something agains mosquito will be very useful too."

"The hosts are super nice. The lodge is really cozy, and the kitchen has everything needed to prepare a nice meal while enjoying nature. Love the bbq and pool Location is great, close of the best beaches in the island and surrounded of nature"

"Fantastic 14 nights at the lodges ! Our studio was perfectly situated and luxurious with everything you need and nice decoration touches ! this is a paradise ! Frederieke and Jeroen were the perfect hosts and the rest of a real friendly team and always there to help ! We had transfers and also hired the car from Jan Kok which made it a full package"

"Beautiful property, great view, friendly hosts and cozy pool. Room, bathroom and kitchenette were clean and well equipped, outdoor kitchen was big and had a great view. Lots of plants, flowers, cats, birds, iguanas and lizards, it felt like you were staying in a garden of eden! Lots of shaded parking spaces and shaded places to sit and relax."

"The only minor trouble was the awkward placement of the airconditioning, which caused the bathroom to be colder than our room. The airconditioning unit is placed in the small space connecting the room and the bathroom, but the door frame blocks most of the cold air. I don’t know if this is specific to our room or if this is the same in all rooms."

"Fantastic and welcoming host. Incredible views from the property, salt flats and amazing views of the mountain in one direction, and loads of sunbathing iguanas in the trees in the other direction. it felt so isolated and unique."

"We had a lodge with an outside living area and kitchen and it was SO hot and humid, and we got eaten alive by the bugs in the evenings. I would've preferred if those areas were inside and had an AC unit. it would've made the stay more comfortable. This is also due to the fact that the lodge is inland, so does not benefit from the cool sea breeze, not their fault!"

"Very well equipped even with gears you need on the beach, the yard is full of different good looking plans, and during the day you can hear the birds. Cute employees and super helpful and welcoming hosts. We are very happy to stay here."

"Our stay at Jan Kok Lodges was excellent! The hosts were very receptive and the structure is very good. I believe the biggest differential is the location. Located right in the middle of the island, you are less than a 5-minute drive from incredible beaches and you won't need more than 30 minutes to get to each end of the island. The view of the flamingo lake is beautiful."
