"Probably the best place to stay on Santo Antão. Pombas is a charming small coastal village, from where it is easy to explore Paul's Valley. Locals are extremely friendly. Laranjinha Rooms has it all: very welcoming and helpful owners, comfortable and spacious rooms, a terrace with sea view, the restaurant serves excellent food, and there is a supermarket below. Arlinho can arrange transfers to any place on the island (Cova crater, Cruzinha, Ponta do Sol, ....) We will definately come back!"

"The apt is really cool, clean and has everything needed. It is in a great location, being close to either santa maria beach (more turistic) and Angulo beach (more relaxed). I didnt hear any street noises on my 7 day stay. Would stay again for sure!"

"Prachtige, goed verzorgde accommodatie. Zeer uitgebreide keukengerei, mooie degelijke handdoeken,beddengoed stoelen tafels echt alles is gewoon goed. Ligging aan zee. Alles op loopafstand voor Sal rei, we hebben ons nooit onveilig gevoeld daar. Prettig ontvangst, heel fijn er stond water/fris/2 biertjes, koffie klaar en ook nog wat snackjes. Dat is echt een heerlijk begin van onze vakantie!"
