"Our stay at Steigenberger was very pleasant, the same day we started with a spa treatment - the Pharaoh bath, we got a special deal two for one. We had 3 massage therapists who took care of us💆‍♀️Higly recommending it! But let's get back to the beginning, we got welcomed by Ahmed, who gave us a beautiful room with a balcony facing the Nile. For many a dream come true.. You will be welcomed wih a refreshing cold hibiscus tea. The breakfast buffet there has a huge selection and in the evening you can also have a dinner buffet with a view to the Nile if you sit outside. There are two pools, gym, some stores with souvenirs around the hotel and even a swing to take a beautiful sunset picture with a view to the Nile. Thank you Ahmed for your assistance, we felt very welcome thanks to you. 💯☺️"

The surrounding area is poor, but don't be scared, the locals are welcoming and kind. Sometimes you have to be patient so order your breakfast early if you have an adventure day planned.

The location was at the foot of the hill, which was a bit disappointing. The uphill walk did not get me much higher and I could not progress further along that path.

"Location for us was wonderful. Nice views, quiet village, close to a few beautiful hikes. Spacious apartment with a kitchen that had everything you needed (no oven, no foods like salt/sugar/butter/tea/coffee, so bring your own) and a large balcony. Kind host with sweet dog."

"There was nothing to really "like" - nothing standing out - IMHO room facilities, decoration, bathroom and bedding where merely acceptable."

The owner's agony on low power consumption is obvious. 1) the fuse controling TV & AirConditioner was off - had to do a bit of troubleshooting in order to get the TV operational 2) lighting in the room extremely low 3) stove required ~45 minutes to prepare one cup of coffee. The road to get to the property is suitable for one way traffic. If you crossed with another vehicle one of the two would have to reverse. Pet friendliness was limited to the owner's pets and was not extended to the guests' pets. The owner resented the fact that I traveled with my pet noticing that I should have informed up-front.

"Beautiful setting amongst lush vegetation. Fantastic rooms and bungalows with a wooden construction and lovingly updated for tourism. Lovely place to relax and unwind. Quiet location, but either a 10-15minute walk to Chethy beach, which is huge and deserted or a 5 minute tuk-tuk ride to Marari beach where there are more snack shacks and facilities."

Would have liked a kettle to make tea/coffee and a fridge, but don’t let that minor detail put you off…it’s beautiful.

"Вчора повернулися з подорожі Карпатами, зокрема відвідали термальні басейни в Косино (святкували ювілей чоловіка) Готель має гарне розташування локаційно, приємні господарі і затишне подвірʼя ( мангал, бесіди, дитячий майданчик, парковка) В готелі чистенько, приємно здивувала кухня та все необхідне від посуду до техніки. В номері є все для відпочинку. Дякуємо Марʼяні і колективу. РЕКОМЕНДУЮ!!!"

Не працював басейн в готелі бо нерентабельно його обслуговування.
