Rendezvous Villas

"We loved everything about this place! We stayed in Villa 2 and are planning to stay again later in the year. The sunrise and beachfront views from the villa are just stunning and you get a beautiful breeze through the big sliding doors and screens.The pool, loungers and bbq were perfect for our long stay and everything was cleaned every second day. Just outside you'll see so many hermit crabs and roaming roosters. If your lucky like us you'll hear a coconut fall from the tree and try husking it with the corner of the concrete slab at the end of the stairs. The location is easy to find and so close to muri night markets, plenty bars and resturants one way and the other way it's easy to get to charlies, patai store, wigmores and some of the best swimming spots like papaaroa and aroa beaches. Thank you to the hosts for such easy communication and a wonderful stay, we'll definitely be back!"

"At night, tiny flying bugs got through the aircon sometimes but they're harmless and we saw them at other accomodation around the island too. Would recommend only sleeping with the ceiling fans at night to avoid them coming in and maybe bug spray :)"

"The property was wow, lovely and spacious with a private area by the pool which was also out of the wind. A great kitchen plus outdoor bbq. Big bathroom with a bidet (not that we used it) lol. Kayaks right there under the deck and great snorkel ing directly off the deck."

"The property was great but the mattress needed updating as you woke every time one of you changed position. The toilet seat had become detached but was still usable."

"A very warm welcome on arrival to Rarotonga with great suggestions and information during our transfer to our accommodation. The accommodation was very spacious, clean and comfortable. A great location at Muri Beach, close to shops and restaurants. Great value for money."

"Private beachfront accommodation with great facilities - everything you could ask for. Water pressure was amazing. Great ventilation and temperature control. Laundry irons extra blankets and pillows everything replenished and cleaned every couple of days had an amazing time and set the bar high for future visits to the island."

"Lack of instructions and communication around getting in and expectations for cleaning during the stay - no times even though the cleaner tended to show up around 10.30am each second day. A way to lock the courtyard with the pool would have been a great addition as didn’t feel secure in my privacy."

"Property was perfect no matter the weather with shade for rain or sun The layout of the villa was wonderfully spacious and comfortable Because it was of the road made it quite for road noise Even in the big winds no windows were rattling. Good ventilation through screened louvred windows. Didn’t need aircon on and supplied doona for cooler nights was cozy"

"Not always sure when housekeeping were coming! We were told every second day but unsure of the times and to know to expect at an approximate time would have been nice. I know we’re on island time. But do we get up and go or snooze in? We didn’t realise Sunday housekeeping didn’t come, it was on our second day and public holiday Monday so then we didn’t expect service so this would have been nice to know!"

"The apartment is very nice and had everything we needed. We really liked the island style. It's a little dated but that applies to many of the resorts as well. Was super clean and the bed was divine. Views are amazing although unfortunately it was extremely windy for our stay so we were unable to really enjoy the deck or beach. It's also very private as the beach is kind of cut off at one end so discourages a lot of people walking past."

"The check-in experience and responsiveness of the hosts left a lot to be desired I'm afraid. I told him I didn't have roaming on the island so was relying on WiFi and the Booking.com messages. I asked for both early check-in and late check-out and got no response to either question. I didn't get a message about when the apartment was going to be ready for us until minutes before the official check-in time despite sending a couple of messages asking - his answer was that he doesn't get alerts on Booking.com. I don't think that's good enough personally. It was easy to get in once I did hear. My messages about a transfer and late checkout were not answered either so I had to arrange it all myself and have a pick-up at 10am. To be fair I didn't send those messages until the evening before check-out but I received no response at all, and I did say not to bother with the transfer as I didn't receive a prompt reply and so couldn't risk waiting. But I didn't then receive any reply at all. The maintenance/cleaner guy was next door the morning of check-out and said "oh you can stay until midday if you like". I'd already had to book a 10am transfer as I'd not had an answer to my request, so that was nice but too late."

"Facilities were great, gear available for kayaking and snorkelling was great. Location perfect, close to Cafes and restaurants. Very clean and serviced regularly. Awesome stay!"
