"Danielle is an excellent and very attentive host, she was super helpful even the weeks before arriving there. All the staff is amazing despite the fact I don’t speak any French, they were always trying to go above and beyond. The B&B is in a very lively neighborhood with lots of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, pharmacies etc for the people who want to experience Cocody but the house is so peaceful and calm. I will definitely come back, thank you for a great experience in Abidjan!"

"The Roots Hotel in Abidjan was the perfect choice for our stay in Abidjan. The rooms were clean, spacious and very cozy. The room service did a great job in keeping everything nice and clean and it was very responsive and quick about any requests for additional kitchen items or the like. For breakfast, the hotel offers a delicious buffet with a vast choice of varying dishes. The most positive and appealing aspect was the friendly and helpful staff as well as the owner of the place: they are very forthcoming with ideas for any kinds of errands (if you don't know the city). The owner even drove us to a local market with her car for last-minute grocery shopping on our last day in Abidjan, as it was on her way anyway, and offered us to prepare a room just for us to being able to take a shower before our flight back home. In short: I can absolutely recommend the Roots Hotel!"
