"Everything. We've been before and we really like everything about it. It's such a friendly place and the owner and the couple who oversee the property are so helpful and caring."

There's nothing that we don't like. We love to walk and adore the narrow streets. The location is central but the geography of Bang Tao means that there's always a good walk to get to our favourite places.

"This was such a beautiful stay! Everything is very clean and spacious, we loved the big shower in the bathroom and the overall design of this place :) Breakfast was also so nice and abundant! There's also a common area with kitchen if you need to + board games, very cosy especially if you're not so lucky with the weather like us. The pool seemed really nice but unfortunately we couldn't use it because it was too windy and cloudy when we were there."

"اكواخ لطيفة وتصميمها جيد ، الاسرة كانت مريحة ونظيفة .. تعامل فريق العمل كان لطيف جداً ومتعاون وكانت السيدة التي سلمتنا الكوخ تتحدث الانجليزية مما ساعدنا كثيراً. السعر الذي دفعناه كان عادل جداً نظراً لقلة السواح في منتصف مايو .. يوجد شطاف في دورة المياه"

الحمام ضيق جداً ، ذكروا في الوصف ان هناك مطبخ متكامل في الكوخ ولكن الحقيقة انه لايوجد في الكوخ حتى سخان ماء وانما مطبخ خارجي ونظراً لعدم وجود سواح في وقت اقامتنا كان المطبخ شبه مهجور وقد كانت مضيفتنا لطيفة حيث طلبنا منها ماء ساخن لعمل الشاي.

It would have been helpful to understand when booking, that there was a managing agent on site who would arrange / allocate things. I thought I had booked a specific chalet, not that I had to visit a reception to be allocated a chalet. That would have been helpful when booking transfers etc. Also that there was a barrier that needed a code. Some of our party that had a taxi were almost left at the barrier with all their luggage, which would then have to be carried up the hill to the chalet. Could the code be sent before arrival?

"The beds are extremely comfortable, the check in super easy, the cottage is super cozy, warm and has everything you need for cooking. The location is great, in a secluded spot, absolutely peaceful. We love the dogs, it was a bonus be able to pet and play with them."

Due to my carelessness, I thought the Smyrr cottage had a shower (the photos only show a sink and toilet, but I assumed the shower just wasn't in the photo), so if you're staying longer, you might want to take that into consideration.

"Rooms were spacious, great hot water and comfy bed. The area was close to everything but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. Rooms were also sound proof. Darrin was very helpful, he recommended and booked us on a great hiking tour which I can highly recommend."

"Lovely atmosphere and had all the facilities we needed. It was dark when we arrived making it a bit difficult to find however we managed to contact the manager and were guided to the property. There was no restaurant or cafe within walking distance but the young man who welcomed us went out of his way to go and get dinner and bring it back for us. A peaceful and comfortable stay. I would recommend this place."

There was no signpost on the main road to give directions. Not so bad during the day but necessary at night.

"This is an exceptional place to stay. The attention to detail, the artistic touches, make you feel that you're not just renting a room, but that you are experiencing something really special. The hosts are some of the nicest people around, always ready with hot coffee in the morning, a delicious breakfast and the yummiest dinners. You get to sleep in a work of art, and this is what makes this place so rare and so special."

This is a personal preference, but we found the pillows quite hard. But honestly, when you wake up in a tree house, the pillow thing is really a tiny issue, which gets forgotten about the moment you open your eyes, and you see the gorgeous waterfall on the property, the resident squirrel and the 2 dogs Bobby and Ania ❤️

"Very nice accommodation. Comfortable, clean with all needed amenities and more! The swimming pool is a pleasure and the view on the palm trees, a real treat. The place is very secure, and perfectly located being very close to the city center on one side and restaurants and bars on the other side (few minutes walk).."

لايوجد سوبر ماركت قريب.. يجب ان تحضر احتياجاتك الغدائيه معك.. والغرفه لا تحوي فرن ولكن فيه طباخ كهربائي يفي بالغرض.. والمكرويف في الخارج ولكن ممكن استخدامه.. ويوجد مكان خارجي مجهز للشواء بادواته. بسعر اضافي.. لايوجد شطاف بدورات المياه

For a family of four it was a bit tight spaced, but not unmanageable. Just for awareness - it is one bedroom and the sleeper couch serves as second bed.

"The cottages are nicely located, with enough space between them for privacy and nearby the river. The hotel restaurant was very nice and convenient, as well as the bread service in the mornings. And the beds were good."

The bathroom was extremely tiny. Literally showering above the toilet, smaller than boat cabin bathrooms! Quite weird for the given space in the cottage. Also the cooking facilities were fairly cramped, you cab only fit 2 small pans if you're lucky. However, it worked out well enough for us. Lastly, there are a lot of playground facilities for the kids, which sounded nice, but they were also located right in front of (most of) the cottages, which can make it quite noisy (depending on which children are playing there).

"I absolutely loved the place! I came together with my friend with intention to relax and chill. The place was super cozy, relaxing and in a lovely calm area. When we came in november, there were still some wedding decoration left on the staircase (from the owners sons wedding the month before), and as a future bride myself I felt enchanted! I definitely recommend this place either for a lovely ladies night, or a romantic getaway, or a fun holiday with a bunch or friends. Greetings from Joanna and Monika"
