"Air conditioning worked and room was fairly spacious for 3 people. Conveniently located for Balerna station (if arriving from the station the “front” door is around the back, not on the main road!)"

"The staff were amazing, we left our suitcase outside the rear of the property as was not put in the boot of the car. Luckily the staff noticed and kept to one side and informed me. Really appreciate this. The room was clean and comfy, had everything needed."

"Convenient, clean and comfortable hotel. No reception between 8 and 12am. You pick up your key in a box with a code they give you. Wifi was functioning well."

"20 euros for a small dog (max. 9Kg) is too high. The maximum I ever paid was 15 euros and it was in a 4 star hotel in Dresden which even provided a small pad for the dog and a bowl. I select my hotels on booking with "pets allowed". When the hotel then adds another criteria like a maximum weight, it complicates everything, especially when you learn about it after having made a non reimbursable reservation. Maybe it is mentioned on Booking but there are too many things to read on the reservation page and I don't want to waste my time when I travel (critic to Booking who should simplify their site). Besides, a small uneducated dog does more damage than a big educated one. So, the rule should be: all pets allowed or none."

"Nice big and bright room (202) on the busy street side. Heard nothing, good windows. The beds are quite firm (but we always bring our own soft topper). The airconditioning was rather loud, so that was a pity, since you cannot leave the window open. The vending machine diwnstairs did not accept card payment, but this should be fixed. Parking was great. Communication also. Nice Restaurants at 7 mon walk."

"The hotel is near the highway, so for us it was perfect location (we had to detour only a few minutes from our journey) and it was perfect also because there was no time limit for check-in, as it is a self check-in. Free parking is available on the property. The room was simple but clean, the bed very comfortable, the toilet and shower working properly. There was a TV but we didn't use it. We used the free wi-fi though, and it worked well. It was nothing fancy, but clean and in good working order. There was no visible staff on the site, but we had a Whatsapp number we called a couple of times to ask questions and they always answered promptly in polite and helpful way. Just a note, as this is self check-in you will need to send your details (or a photo of ID card) to their whatsapp or email, and also pay the 2CHF tourist tax (per person) through a Stripe link."

"well loaded close to Italian border. Arrived late at night. Keys were in secure code protected cubby holes by the back door. Initially I was dubious but having stayed 2 nights it was fine. Excellent communication from the owner by WhatsApp. Its a basic place but there was A/C."
