"I liked the concept of this place - It’s a rustic, farmhouse-like accommodation with the fireplace in our rooms and the horses outside. The hosts were very accommodating, giving us a free upgrade for our rooms and allowing a late breakfast. The food there was great. Would be good to have more matchsticks/some firestarters to light up the fireplace!"

"The location was great. Restaurant is close and the view around is very nice. Private, not too many people crossing."

Windows are impossible to open. It was a warm summer day, no air conditioning, so it was very warm to sleep.

"Nice campsite at Kolpa river, exactly on the side of the river. There are places for tents and caravans and also mobile homes. View is perfect, I also like the restaurant. Mobile homes are quite small, but okay for a couple of days."

With a little bit of renovations would be great place.

It would be helpful if there was a bath mat provided to keep the floor dry. And I am glad that washing up liquid is now provided, as in previous years we have had to buy our own.

The cottage was not super clean upon arrival, overly expensive optional 'add ons' (sheets/cleaning fee/equipment rental).

He welcomes you with open arms and helps with absolutely everything at any time. The apartment is really charming and you feel at home immediately when you step in. The room is very spacious and the bed so comfy. Kitchen and bathroom are fully clean and equipped with everything. I am recommending this place so very much! Thank you Josias for making my stay in Santo Domingo unforgettable."
