"The garden is very beautiful and the views are great. The owner (Bert) is also very responsive and helpful and has some good specialty beers. The breakfast was also really good and something to look forward to Every morning."

"The location is a bit outside of the city center and requires a walk of 15 minutes up hill. The shower was not super great and a bit cold"

"The hostel is beautiful - set in the hills above Samaipata Owner Bert is super friendly - does everything he can to make sure you have a nice stay Sociable hostel Breakfast every morning was good with good coffee"

"It is a 15min walk down to town which is quite hilly on the way up! Moto taxis only 5Bs each and take around 4 minutes though"

"Our stay at Hostal Serena was wonderful! The hostel is a little bit outside of the village in beautiful nature, but nevertheless it is only a few walking minutes away from the center of Samaipata. Also the host and the volunteers were very helpful. We were very pleased!"

"Beautiful hostel with a lovely garden and great views over Samaipata. Our room was one of the best we have stayed in South America- so spacious, beautifully decorated and a very comfy bed. The breakfast was super too! Lots of variety and very delicious."

"We wanted to return after our jungle tour but it was fully booked! So, the only disappointment was we couldn’t stay longer!"
