Al Afiah Hotel

"فندق نظيف يقع 15 دقيقة مشي إلا وسط البلد الفندق بشكل عام جيد محطة الكياك قريبة منه"

"لا شئ"

"The staff were really good 👍 Typical buffet breakfast with a pretty good selection. Very good sized room. Everything worked. My air con unit failed in my first room so I was promptly given a replacement room. A Dart taxi costs BND 5 into the centre however, you can get a water taxi for just BND 2. This is a lovely way to get from the city centre and takes about 5 minutes. Al Afiah has it's own jetty on the river and it's about a 50m walk to the hotel. Loved this."

"We got upgraded for free on arrival to a much better room which was nice! Room was very clean and facilities were good. Breakfast was nice but not much variety."

"Staff were a bit rude and not very helpful when we tried to book a boat tour."

"Great facillties, extremely spacious, friendly staff, option of hotel's own river transport & excursions as well as convenient land shuttle service. Adjacent to supermarket & eateries."

"Nothing!!"

"Good location with lots of stores and restaurants. Spacious room with all you need. Clean enough"

"Bathroom had a smokey smell, some of towels sheets should be replaced"

"The front desk, restaurant, housekeeping and tour guide staff were wonderful, going above and beyond to answer questions, provide information and make us feel very welcome. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, and breakfast every day was excellent."

"We have nothing negative to say. We highly recommend Al-Afiah."

"The location, the service, breakfast and most importantly the staff at reception. Everything was no bother, smiles all the way, The hotel shuttle was a life saver. I didn't use the hotel gym but end-up using Boss Gym, a 5 minutes walk from the hotel."

"You will not regret staying there. Promise"

"Location quiet and booked before. Simple ticks all boxes for layover"

"Bit old fashion"

"Very comfortable rooms, bed was big to fit a family of three. The buffet breakfast was a hearty meal! And location makes it easy to get around places. The river close by was also cool to see. We arrived past midnight and they were very quick to check us in and make sure we can rest asap."
